I love these images from Veronica and Jason’s Brake and Clutch Warehouse engagement session in Deep Ellum! This couple is full of personality and their spirits are vibrant! This AMAZING wall in Deep Ellum at Brake and Clutch warehouse was the perfect spot for this couple’s session. Deep Ellum holds a special place in this couple’s heart as so much of their time is spent in the area. They love the Deep Ellum vibe and community. The Dallas Comedy House is one of the spots they spend their time at most! Veronica and Jason were great sports meeting me at the wall in the early hours of the morning to catch the best light for these images!

Prairie Creek Park Maternity Session in Richardson | Caroline + Julien

One of my favorite aspects of life is how people weave through it. I photographed Caroline and Julien’s wedding in 2015 and fate would have it that Caroline and I would work together months later. Our paths have diverged yet again but came back together once Caroline and Julien found out they were expecting. We met at Prairie Creek Park in Richardson early one morning for their maternity session to catch the beautiful light as it came through the tall trees. This session wouldn’t have been complete without the couple’s adorable and unbelievably well behaved pup, Lola! I am so overjoyed to capture these moments for them as they embark on a new journey as a family of 3! Congratulations to the Dubec family!

Lifestyle Newborn Session in Dallas | Baby Samantha

The connections you make in life can sometimes surprise you and make you realize how small the world really is! 3 years ago I shot at a wedding at Hickory Street Annex for a couple named Katie and Matt. Turns out that Katie and I both went to the same high school in Dallas, Ursuline Academy, and she had a younger brother who was in my year and went to Ursuline’s brother school, Jesuit. Not to mention, my now sister-in-law was a bridesmaid in the wedding! Fast forward a few years and Katie reached out to see if I’d be able to photograph a lifestyle newborn session at their home after their sweet baby girl made her arrival into the world. Lifestyle newborn sessions are a favorite of mine to photograph! Seeing a family welcome a new member is such a joy! This couple has a beautiful Great Dane named Riggins (Anyone else love Friday Night Lights?!) who made his photographic debut in some shots with the family! Samantha was darling and such a great baby to photograph! She’s one lucky baby to have Katie and Matt as parents. It was truly wonderful to capture these memories for this sweet family! Congratulations Katie and Matt on your sweet baby girl, Samantha!

Prather Park Highland Park Senior Session | Maria

This senior session at Prather Park in Highland Park in Dallas was just perfect! The weather can be so iffy in spring and just the day before, we thought we might have to cancel but the forecast adjusted and the sun came out shining! I love finding things in common with my clients during our time together at sessions. This senior and I both attended Ursuline Academy of Dallas and now share the name of Ursuline alumni. The school has changed so much since I graduated and it was wonderful to hear about student and campus life today. Even though we are separated by many years, we actually had some of the same teachers! Commemorating your senior year with a senior session is a perfect way to step into new beginnings! Maria will be moving onto New Orleans to study medicine at Tulane! Congratulations Maria!

Dallas Arboretum Proposal | Kristy+Michael

When Michael first contacted me about photographing his proposal, I had no idea how grand and beautiful of an occasion this Dallas Arboretum proposal would be! This now groom had every last detail planned out perfectly! Michael got in touch with Kristy’s closest friends and family and asked them to be involved in the proposal. Friends and family arrived early to get set up for the event. They each held a beautiful bouquet featuring Kristy’s favorite flower, sunflowers. Michael blindfolded Kristy and led her through the Arboretum until they reached Crape Myrtle Allee. He took off the blindfold and let Kristy see what all this was about! They walked hand in hand down the aisle to friends and family. Once there, Michael dropped to one knee and proposed. I may or may not have been tearing up behind my lens! It was a beautiful moment! After the proposal, Michael and Kristy were up for some romantics around the property.
The evening was just beautiful! Congratulations Kristy and Michael on your engagement!

Winfrey Point Wedding at White Rock Lake | Erin + Paul

What a beautiful Winfrey Point Wedding at White Rock Lake for Erin and Paul this spring! This couple specifically wanted a fun wedding with their closest family and friends in attendance. Each centerpiece was put together individually and no two were the same. The wedding took place on April 1st and the couple made sure to sneak some humor in there! The seating chart was beautifully put together and when guests looked at the back of their cards, it read, “April Fools! We don’t care where you sit, we’re just so glad you’re here!” Their nearest and dearest watched on as the bride and groom took their vows. A close friend was the officiant of the ceremony and there were hardly any dry eyes in the house when the couple’s vows were read aloud. They each wrote their own vows. Celebrations continued late into the night with great food and drinks, delicious petit fours from Casa Linda Bakery and of course, dancing! Congratulations Erin and Paul on your marriage!

Company Portraits-Lash.i.Candy

As a small business owner myself, I love supporting other local small businesses! These company portraits are going to add the perfect touch to the business website for this eyelash extension provider! Jill is a wonderful woman who runs an eyelash extension business in Dallas called Lash.i.Candy. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Jill’s business and family over the past 5 years and was thrilled when she called me up to tell me she needed new head shots! She and her team are hard working, dedicated, talented and beautiful women. They braved the chilly weather just as it hit the metroplex in early December and they sure do have commitment! They handled it perfectly without a hair out of place! I cannot wait to see what her new site will look like! Thanks Jill for having me photograph you and your team for your growing business!

Harry S Moss Park Family Portraits- The Jones Family

Harry S Moss Park was just perfect this fall and winter for family portraits! The lush greenery stayed well into the season and makes for a beautiful backdrop. Krystal and Melvin have celebrated nearly 2 years of marriage and have welcomed sweet baby Samuel into their family! Now it’s Jones Party of 3! Sweet baby Samuel recently celebrated his first birthday so Mom and Dad reached out to me for family portraits to commemorate this milestone in their lives! Samuel has the same kind and laid back demeanor as his parents and you can see it in his beautiful smiles throughout the session. He was curious and happy to be in front of the camera. I cannot wait to continue capturing memories for this family in the years to come!

Harry S Moss Park Family Portraits-Schroepfer Family

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Lyndsay and Tommy for a few years now. I photographed their wedding in early 2014 and within the 2 years since then, they have welcomed a beautiful baby boy into their lives! I can’t believe it took me an entire year to meet this little one. Myles was full of smiles for this session. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I had a bit of a crush on this little guy! I’m so glad to capture lasting memories and am happy to have photographed this one year old family session. Myles even put on his Halloween costume for some cute photos of that sweet memory of his first Halloween!

Fort Worth Botanic Gardens and Trinity Park Fort Worth Maternity Session -Bridget

I am tickled to finally be showing this beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Gardens and Trinity Park Fort Worth maternity session! Not only is Bridget glowing, she’s absolutely radiant! Her maternity look is simply stunning with her marbled dress and floral crown! (Thanks to Sabrina at Vivienne and Vine for the gorgeous floral crown!) Can you say swoon?! She and Edi are expecting their first baby in a few months. Back in 2015, I photographed this sweet couple’s wedding in Fort Worth. Their kindness, compassion and the purity of their love stood out to me on their wedding day and it still does. Building a connection with clients is something I truly treasure and Bridget and Edi are a beautiful couple I’m grateful to be able to document. I was just thrilled to capture these memories for them before they welcome their son into the world soon! The Fort Worth Botanic Gardens are a beautiful spot in Fort Worth and due to the mild weather this fall, we were able to photograph with a good amount of greenery. Trinity Park has a special meaning for this couple as we came to this location for part of their engagement portraits. At the end of this session, you’ll see Bridget and Edi photographed in a tree. That exact spot is where we took some engagement images and one of those images was how Bridget announced her pregnancy on social media. I can’t wait to document more memories for this couple by that tree in the future! Congratulations to you Bridget and Edi!
